The House of the Spirits - Opera in 3 Acts
Noted novelist Isabel Allende granted the rights to adapt her novel and film as an opera. Librettist/poet JD McClatchy has agreed to write the libretto, and a commission is under consideration at major opera houses in the US, Scandinavia, and other European countries.
